Plants
yellowish - olive and in older parts dark brown. Plant erect with
a somewhat distinct tuberous basal holfast, frond 30 cm or more in
height, repeatedly but irregularly dichotomously divided; segments
flabelliform, 4 - 6 times forked; breadth of lamina vary, in narrow
leaved form, 0.5 - 0.75 cm broad; in broad leaved forms about 1.5
cm broad; distinct midrib occuring throughout the length of the frond,
margin irregularly dentate and more or less sonvate, section with
two layers of cells in the thallus
